Black Gold

This collaborative piece is inspired by experimental alchemists like Henning Brand. Black Gold reports the slow process required to create the condensed liquid of black gold.

Moving away from its golden origin, 700 ml of urine were distilled into the dark, chicken-scented liquid. This project was initiated with the aim of discovering amorphous crystals in the urine.
